Nippon University line of thought department (にほんだいがくぶんりがくぶ, College of Humanities and Sciences, Nihon University) is a department of one university of 14 departments in Nippon University. A literature graduate course, a general basic science graduate course (ぶんがくけんきゅうか, そうごうきそかがくけんきゅうか) is a graduate course of the graduate schools to educate a theory of literature and the basic science and application, and to study. I am said to be Nippon University line of thought. A ceremony of the 100th anniversary of the department foundation was held in April, 2001.

It is literature department of the letter of the law department (the current law department) in the origin. A literature department separated as a department of literature and became independent and built more subjects having a physical element, and it was afterwards in the department where there were a faculty of liberal arts and 18 subjects of the humanity 6 subject that compounded of the physical science, a society system 5 subject, the science system 7 subject in total. 化 project to show electricity

A study led by the staff of a school of the line of thought department which aimed at the construction of the energy-saving model campus with the goal of coexistence of electricity reduction and the education environment maintenance is adopted as Nippon University chief director study in 2012, and this study utilizes renewable energy and the study resources about the technique for energy saving which have been already performed in a school member and pushes forward practical use [⁵].
