Mizuma-cho (みづままち) is the town which belonged to Mizuma-gun, Fukuoka. The commuting rate to Kurume-shi 26.2% (2000 national census). It was admitted into Kurume-shi with Jojimamachi, Mizuma-gun, Kitano-cho, Mii-gun, Tanushimarumachi, Ukiha-gun of the neighborhood and, on February 5, 2005, became the Kurume-shi Mizuma-cho.

Geography

Yamanoi River flows through the northwest of the town to the south side (boundary line with Oki-machi) of the town an old flow of the Chikugo River. Most of the towns are alluvial plains of the Chikugo River, and a rice field spreads out on the plains.
