Mitsubishi Oil Co., Ltd. (みつびしせきゆ) is the Japanese company which ever existed and is the oil company of the Mitsubishi group which it is one of the forerunners of the JX energy developing ENEOS of the service station in the whole country now and retained from 1931 through 1999.

Summary
I am established as process of the establishment by Mitsubishi joint-stock company, the Mitsubishi mining industry (existing: Mitsubishi Materials), Mitsubishi financial combine three of Mitsubishi Corporation and joint management of the associated oil. It was the first foreign capital tie-up in a Japanese oil company.
The associated oil was purchased afterwards by Getty Oil Co., but the company was purchased in 1984 by Texaco. I cooperated with Nippon Oil tied up with Caltex (Chevron as of each) which was Texaco and a joint venture of so Cal with it, and it was with the clue to the later merger.
It was the round signboard of the red three diamond, but the signboard was changed in a lengthwise rectangle of the yellow on cloth of white background in the bitter orange place until the middle stage of the 1990s to avoid confusion with the Mitsubishi Corporation oil (existing Mitsubishi Corporation energy).
It merged with Nippon Oil in 1999 and became Nisseki Mitsubishi and became extinct as a corporation (later description).
I was used until it was unified about the signboard of the bitter orange place in ENEOS in 2001 [1]. Furthermore, the company became Nippon Oil Corp. in 2002, the following day, and the name of Mitsubishi disappeared from a company name (later description).
