Kunio Katakura

Kunio Katakura (firmly easily 1933 (1933) October 22 -) is a Japanese diplomat. I acted as Iraqi 駐箚特命全権大使 at the time of the Gulf War.

Career, person

I am born in Tokyo (1933) on October 22 in 1933. The permanent address Miyagi [¹]. The Katakuras is the descendant of Muneaki Tamura in succession to assumption of the family name of nurse Kita of Masamune Date. The wife is Motoko Katakura of the ethnologist.

Via old system Sanuma, Miyagi Junior High School (current Sanuma, Miyagi Senior High School), Mt. Tachido, Tokyo Senior High School, I enter Tokyo University college of liberal arts science II (1953) in April in 1953. I graduate from the Tokyo University law department (1960) in 1960 and enter a ministry in Ministry of Foreign Affairs. I study in Institute of London University Orient Africa study (the School of Oriental and African Studies, popular name SOAS), Lebanese Foreign Office position Arabic training center (MECAS), the Cairo University from 1960 through 1963 [³].
