Koichi Iwakoshi (いわこしつねいち, from December 18, 1878 to October 30, 1945) is an officer of the Japanese army. The last rank is Lieutenant General of army.
Career
I am from Osaka. I am born as the eldest son of the Tadashi Iwakoshi gate-guard office. Via Osaka Junior High School, I graduate from a military academy (the twelfth) (1900) in November in 1900. I appoint it to Second Lieutenant military engineer in June in the next year and become belonging to a military engineer third battalion. Through military officer instructors, I graduate from Military Staff College (the 24th) (1912) in November in 1912.
It became the duty belonging to Department of the Army military duties station (1913) in June in 1913, and I was belonging to the staff, a telegraphic communication corps, and, through traffic corps headquarters, a land size instructor, it was a railroad regiment commander (1921) in temporariness in December in 1921, and I was mobilized by the Siberia dispatch of troops. I am promoted to Colonel military engineer (1922) in August in 1922 and take office as the section manager of General Staff Office. I go on a business trip to Europe (1924) until January in the next year from July in 1924. I am promoted to Major General (1927) in July in 1927 and, through a telegraphic communication second regiment commander, take office as Sasebo caid.
I took office as the army communication principal (1928) in August in 1928 and successively held Principal army military engineer, the army gun engineering principal and advanced to the Lieutenant General of army (1932) in April in 1932. It became 工兵監 (1933) in August in 1933 and it was appointed a parent the third divisional commander (1935) in March in 1935 and was stationed in Manchurian. I became belonging to General Staff Office and took office as the next month, the Tokyo guard commander and eastern part defense commander (1936) in March in 1936 and combined with the martial law commander with the 2.26 case until July of the year. It became the pending appointment (1937) in August in 1937 and, in the next month, became the reserve duty admission.
