Jean Baudrillard (Jean Baudrillard, from July 27, 1929 to March 6, 2007) is a French philosopher, thinker. With "a consumption social myth structure" (La Sociétéde Consommation 1970) had a big influence on a modern thought. I am considered to be a representative thinker of the postmodern.

Career

I am born in the house of the tenant of Marne Lance. By the way, father was a low-class public employee. In 1948, I enter the Sorbonne. The original specialty is German.

In 1962, I establish association of French Chinese people with Felix Guattari. I announce translation of curl Marx and Bertolt Brecht from these days.

In 1966, I acquire a doctorate. As for the doctoral dissertation, the judge is Roland Barthes, Pierre Bourdieu, Henri Lefebvre with "the system of the thing". I become an assistant of ルフェーブル in Paris University Nanterre school. I announce "the system" and come into the limelight in the epoch-making viewpoint that I adopted in a value theory of Marx, "the money can rearrange semiotics of Ferdinand de Saussure by a simple sign of its own in constant functions" afterwards.

In 1977, I announce "忘 れよう in temptation theory introduction - - Foucault". I make Michel Foucault angry. In 1986, I resign Professor Nanterre.

On March 6, 2007, I die at home of Paris. 77 years old.

I greeted the mass consumption, reproduction era and preached that a product appeared as a sign only as usefulness. However, cf. (→ so Cal case) to receive criticism that I use mathematics, a scientific term by alane so Cal and others inadequately.

I play an active part as a photographer, a photograph commentator in the 1990s, and a collection of photograph criticism includes "technique of the extinction".
