The Hoshikawa Street (air according to the river) starts from Kamakuracho, Kumagaya-shi, Saitama and, via Hoshikawa, Tsukuba, is the nickname of the municipal road of Kumagaya-shi reaching the commercial bank seat. Another name "Hoshikawa symbol road." All sections are located on the both sides of Hoshikawa.

Floating of lanterns

• Because it is said that damage in particular was ordinary, and around Hoshikawa cheers up a late citizen by this air raid by the Kumagaya air raid during World War II, floating of lanterns is performed every year on August 16.

Kamakura-cho knight bazaar

• The event that is held every month in the Kamakura-cho Street that is the starting point (mall) on the third night of Saturday. A part of the Hoshikawa Street is included in the held area, too.
