Fair sex throne war
Fair sex title round of the shogi that association of three newspapers [note 1], Japanese Shogi Federation, association of professional player Japanese girl shogi (LPSA) host the fair sex throne war (じょりゅうおういせん) [1]. Method

Challenger decision league
As for by six, 12 people of six qualifiers and six seed people (first-term holdover) in total are divided into two groups of the group of Red Branch, innocence and perform the league match of the round robin. Queen throne
An eternity title of the queen throne is given the fair sex shogi player who got the fair sex throne five sittings in total. The fair sex shogi player who has a qualification of the queen throne as of 2016 only as for Ichiyo Shimizu. In addition, Tomomi Kai acquires it in total for four quarters and obtains a qualification of the queen throne when I got the fair sex throne next.

The first fair sex throne war
The first fair sex throne war began by the qualifier league which divided all fair sex shogi player 19 people at the time into nine group of ten Red Branch, innocence in November, 1989. The fifth game by the champion (Nakai - forest leaf) of each group was carried out in the plan of from April, 1990 to June, and Nakai became the first fair sex throne in 3 successive victories on May 18, the same year.
It becomes the current method to perform the qualifier by the tournament from the fourth (1993), and to decide the league participants.
