Email delivery agent

The function that the email delivery agent (there seems to be the email agent, Mail Delivery Agent, MDA) delivers an E-mail divided in two in an email server by email transfer agent (MTA) to an addressee.

I do not transmit to a direct partner and may be sent to different MTA. (remote MDA)

When an addressee is in the server of the self, an email delivery agent (local MDA) for the country is chosen by MTA and stores local MDA to mailboxes.

In remote MDA, MTA and one body or a set thing are common, but local MDA is often the software which is different from MTA.
