The movie director that Douglas Sirk (Douglas Sirk, real name :Hans Detlef Sierck, from April 26, 1897 to January 14, 1987) is from Germany. I played an active part in Hollywood.

Brief career history

I am born in cause, Hamburg of Dane parents and am brought up in Germany and Denmark. I start a carrier as a stage director by the cause of ヴァイマル coKazumasa and am engaged in filmmaking in a woofer in 1934. However, because a wife was a Jew, I escaped from the oppression of the Nazis and I left Germany in 1937 and took refuge in the United States.

I supervised anti-Nazis movie "Hitler's Madman" in Hollywood in 1942. After the bottom of the pile continued for a while, I wrote a series of melodramas by a universal movie from 1952 through 1958 and supervised other Western films.

I came back to Germany in the 1970s and died in Switzerland in 1987.

I visit Japan (1955) on September 10 in 1955.

Digression

I was going to be chosen as an examination chairperson in the Cannes Film Festival of 1980 by the reevaluation of the work, but the telegraphic message of the request was sent to Kirk Douglas by a slip-up, and it was not able to be to the examination chairperson in the year [1].
