Brahma the Creator Taro

Brahma the Creator Taro (the first Brahma the Creator) (ぼんてんたろう, 1929 [1] from January 5 to June 30, 2008) is Japanese Rev. tattoo, painter, a drama painter, a designer, a comic artist.

I may transcribe it into Taro Bonten. When I create a girls' comic, I use a nom de plume of Kiyomi Ishii (I let you be and go and read and rarely transcribe it into Kiyomi). There is the time when I gave carving clean (ほりきよ) for Rev. tattoo. The real name Kiyomi Tanaka [2] (shelf or Kiyomi).

Achievements, activity

I wiped out the negative image called "tattoo = scoundrel" and made an effort to let the world recognize the tattoo as "the most primitive fashion" to give glory to skin with a painting. I called a tattoo "skin picture" "skin illustration" to improve the fashionableness of the tattoo and preached the historic distinction of "a tattoo, the tattoo mark as criminal record" as "the tattoo" as the penalty and the decoration.

In the 1970s, I studied the polychromatic carving that had been already carried out with the European and American tattoo and took it in for sum carving carved only with handed-down convention, blue (sumi) and cinnabar red two kinds positively. From the thought that shortening at time carving it is the only, I introduce technique of trace, the transcription of the sketch and machine carving quickly to minimize the pain that is one of the biggest obstacles for the generalization at the same time. I remodeled the machine for the tattoo which I was not able to carve and studied only a small area and developed the machine which could cope with sum carving after trial and error structurally.
