曾谷教信
曾谷教信 (そやきょうしん, Gennin era first year (1224) - Shoo May 1, 4 (May 29, 1291)) is a samurai of the Shimousa country of the last part of Kamakura era. It is a vassal of Chiba in feudal lords of 同国八幡荘曾谷郷 (current Soya, Ichikawa-shi, Chiba). The popular name is 二郎兵衛尉. I became a priest with Nichiren later and introduced myself as "law lotus day etiquette". Father is said to be Ono Masakiyo (by the divergent view with the Sotani way top) who is considered to be the uncle of the mother's side of Nichiren [1]. In addition, about the self-introduction called "教信", there are "day etiquette" and a granted opinion by Nichiren in a secular name theory and a Buddhist name when I became a priest once newly later, but there are many opinions adopting the latter.
When 富木常忍 which was a samurai of Yawata Zhuang serving same Chiba built Hokkeiji (Lotus Sutra temple in the back) for Nichiren (1260) for Buno era three years, I am invited and am informed by a believer it to hear Nichiren direct sermon when it was. Father died of an illness three years later, but 教信 accomplished that I chanted sutra until 13 anniversaries of death in a part of "自我偈" in "Lotus Sutras" for the memorial service every day. It is said that I called that Nichiren claims to be "a person of true filial piety" to hear this and calls him by name without any honorific title with "a law lotus holy priest" saying that it is impolite. Nichiren writes "曾谷入道殿許御書" in (1275) for Bunei 12 years when these 13 anniversaries of death were in and gives 教信 and 太田乗明 it and lectures about accepted doctrine. In addition, I tell that I know that there is possibility of the taking the field in 教信親子 in conjunction with the Mongolian Invasions with "your side and Nichiren for one minute of the teacher platform" and send a letter to promise that I meet the body of 教信 in the future life even if there is anything for.

This is considered to have planned a tie-up with 貞胤 which acquired a position of the Shimousa protection to plan survival in the process when 胤貞流 (later Kyushu Chiba) is removed after a feud of succession to a house of Chiba by 胤貞, 貞胤 by the Shimousa country. 曾谷氏 produces fortune on mainland temple sixth day equal to the great-great-grandchild of 教信 and maintains power afterward, and Onojo is built by Hara that it was Chiba first on the list chief vassal taking advantage of a revolt of the Kyotoku era that is in the latter half of the Muromachi era, and 曾谷, Ono leaves the name for a record as a ruler in this area until it is done 押領.
