Kind of the birds that the barwing shearwaters (Hajiro shearwater, scientific name :Pterodroma solandri) are classified in a shearwater eyes petrel.

Distribution
It spreads only in the road how island of the offing in eastern Australia and nearby islands. I go north in the North Pacific in the non-breeding season, but there are more numbers the northwestern part.

Form

Habits
I inhabit the ocean other than the breeding season.
The wing is long and flies by the gliding that the flap is slightly slow, and is low, but if there is argument, I describe an arc and fly fast. I often fly in the marine relatively high place.
The eating habit preys on fish or a mollusk in animal food.
The breeding form is oviparous. I form a colony in the breeding season and I dig the hole in soil between a rock and nest and lay 1 egg.
