Origin

I am born in (1930), Tokyo prefecture Tokyo City (current Tokyo) in 1930.

It is entered the company in (1948), March in 1948 by movie company Shinto treasure. I am assigned to "特機部" and participate in the snowstorm scene on the mountaintop of "Fuji mountaintop" (Manager Kiyoshi Saeki) as the machine parts staff and I take you as the charm of special effects and am possessed. When "特機部" was the staff who moved camera machine parts and sprinkled powder in the scene of the snowstorm, it was the section which worked near のちの "操演".

I participate in (1953), miniature trick shooting of "battleship Yamato" (Yutaka Abe) with Yasuyuki Inoue, Yoshio Irie and others in 1953.

"Submarine ろ does not yet surface" (1954) in 1954 and participates in trick shooting of (director Hiromasa Nomura).

I intend to sever my connections with (1955), the movie world in 1955 and leave new Toho. I receive an invitation from Toho one month later and participate in "counterattack (director Motoyoshi Oda) of the Godzilla" as the 特機 staff. It was handling of "the temporary staff" then. I was assigned to "Class of the Eiji Tsuburaya special ability supervision Tsuburaya" and acted as average charges Fumio, Mr. chief of 特機.

I participate in various special effects movies as the 特機 staff afterward in Toho. Of the work of special effects when there was not it, participated in Manager Akira Kurosawa work as 本編特機.

I teach a head of the monster Godzilla the device which a mouth opens and closes by cable broadcasting radio control in Toho and contract, "the King Kong vs. Godzilla" (director Ishiro Honda) as an engineer of "the special ability section" from (1962), the 特機 staff in 1962. This work was the first time that the mouth of the monster came to move by radio control operation.

"Steal a large monster, and steal (1965), the Daiei Motion Picture's first monster movie with Masao Yagi, 村瀬継蔵 and others in lah" (Manager Noriaki Yuasa) in 1965; other than the production of the stuffed toy of the lah as the 操演 staff is participation in special effects.

After this year, the extract pro is participation for monster movie "large monster Yong garri" (Kim ギドォク supervision) of the Korean "Far East film" production. I am in charge of special effects, 操演 of the Korean first monster movie. I participate in "Inui God Armageddons" elsewhere in Taiwan.

I leave (1970), an extract pro in 1970. As a free special effects man, I participate in Hong Kong, Taiwan, a motion picture in Korea. It is said, "I performed half of one year abroad".

I participate in (1972), TV program "robot キカイダー" (NET) of Toei in 1972. In partnership with Nobuo Yajima, I participate in "Institute of the Yajima sponsorship for trick shooting". It affects Toei work a lot afterward.

I am in charge of 操演 in Toei TV work "secret squadron ゴレンジャー" (NET) which extended (1975), a special effects scale in 1975. I participate in "the super squadron series" of Toei beginning in here continuously. A huge robot would come up from "battle fever J", and this squadron series showed chastity dramatics in transformation and the union description of the robot which became complicated.

I am in charge of (1977), special effects of Taiwanese account of war megaflick "筧橋英烈伝" (張曽沢監督) in 1977. The work made a big hit and won 金馬奨.

I participate in (1978), SF work "message (Manager Kinji Fukasaku) of the Toei Kyoto studio from the space" in 1978. Including afterward, "Nagasaki aimlessly knob" (Manager Yukio Fukamachi), from a general work to a special effects work including "Lorelei" (Manager Shinji Higuchi), play an active part regardless of TV, a movie as the first person of the Rev. chastity performance in many divergences.

I died (2012) on February 18 in 2012. 82 years old death. A wake was run on the same month 24 [1].

Suzuki participated in the movie spot on the new Toho work "Fuji mountaintop", but the movie world did not yet have the "操演" section which operated this time, miniature, and the "特機" staff performed this. In "the King Kong vs. Godzilla," I trained the opening and shutting of the mouth of the monster to do cabled radio control for the first time. This was the device which moved "Yu say gear" of Ko Mori whom three pieces of Gere gathered around centering on one piece of monotonous gear in one Mabuchi Motor. I am asked "can you do it?" by Manager Eiji Tsuburaya, and it is said that I undertook it saying "let's do it". Thereafter the mouth of the monster became able to operate it remotely via a special effects movie. When I train eyes to do illumination by the plane of monster train and move it and teach you a device of the opening and shutting of eyelids, I devised various ideas, but tell, "the stock of Tsuburaya went up it and came to do mechanic a lot because myself was interesting above all".

I fitted the wheat ball of the enormous numbers for the night view with a huge miniature set of the Minato-ku whole area in "Mothra" (director Ishiro Honda) of (1961) including Tokyo Tower in 1961. I molded the killer whale pike of the Osaka-jo Castle castle tower in open "Osaka-jo Castle story" (Manager Hiroshi Inagaki) other than plane train and 操演 in the same year. I tell that it is, "the special effects man must be able to do anything".

I produce the miniature of the airplane 360 planes in total in Taiwanese movie "筧橋英烈伝" (張曽沢監督) of (1977) in 1977. It is photographed a miniature in a central film studio of Kuomintang, and the movie is very popular. It is said, "all the audiences believe that it is genuine and did not doubt it".

I participate with the TV work of Toei from "robot キカイダー", but it is said that it was pleased with two knob りの progress of TV when the Suzuki and others that embarrassment should have been common in the staff of the movie field handle work quickly. I tell, "I took such thing of TV into consideration a little than rial exaggeratedly".
