Yumetaun Yatsushiro (work as Yumetaun guy) is located in Yatsushiro-shi, Kumamoto and is the shopping center which IZUMI Co., Ltd. runs.

Summary

The Yatsushiro Port that was a marine transportation base inside and outside Japan was reborn in the modern harbor in the Meiji era, and thereafter a factory of the having many kinds including a paper mill and the brewing factory went around the port, and Yatsushiro-shi prospered as a manufacturing town of the Minamikyushu best. "Yumetaun Yashiro" ran business (2005) in the factory ruins of the Asano cement (renamed to Nihon Cement in 1947 current Taiheiyo Cement Corp.) founded for the first time in Kyushu in (1890) in 1890 on June 22 in 2005.

In Kumamoto, it is a store of the South Kumamoto one and only at the branch of 5 store eyes following "a forest of the Yumetaun light" which opened in (2004) in 2004. The parking lot accommodates 2,400 and is largest in the Yatsushiro area.
