バサヴァカリヤーン (Kannada: ಬಸವಕಲ್ಯಾಣ, English: Basavakalyan) is Karnataka, India, a city of the Vidar prefecture.

History

The history can date back until 3,000 years ago.

In the eleventh century, it was established as the times of the monarch ソーメーシュヴァラ first of the latter term チャールキヤ dynasty, a capital for マーニヤケータ. I was called カリヤーニ at that time.

A follower of the カラチュリ morning received it, but this city came to be called バサヴァカリヤーン after the name of prime minister バサヴェーシュヴァラ later afterwards.
