Rice-field geta
A generic name of the footwear that the rice-field geta (たげた) is worn in the case of the walk movement on farming and the moor in the rice field. It is distinguished from "a stride" used for implantation of the compost.
I promoted efficiency of work by preventing a foot from sinking in gluepot and Fukami field and have been used to protect a foot. I was excavated from remains of the Yayoi period and I was used for a long time, but when progress of the reclamation and use of the labor force of livestock due to oxen and horses generalized it, I declined and was hardly seen with a figure for the development of the agricultural machine now.
