Richard Gardner (economist)
Richard Gardner (Richard Newton Gardner, July 9, 1927 -) is an economist of the United States of America. Columbia University law school professor. International economics, economic history, economic policy specialty of the United States.
I am from New York. In 1948, I enter a school of higher grade after Harvard graduation from university in Yale University law school. I study in Oxford University as Rhodes Scholar and acquire an economic doctorate afterwards in 1954. I do a birch in Columbia University from 1957. Meanwhile, I acted as the Assistant Secretary of State in charge of the issue of international organization under the Kennedy Administration and successively held the U.S. Ambassador to Italy, the from 1993 through 1997 U.S. Ambassador to Spain from 1977 through 1981. In addition, it was a member of the Japan, the United States and Europe Trilateral Commission from 1974 through 2005. ,
