Summary
The Phuket Japanese society assumes mutual aid and the interchange promotion of the Japanese resident in Phuket a main purpose and performs activity such as a Thai in the prefecture and Japanese cultural exchange, the contribution to social welfare. In addition, I run Phuket Japanese supplementary lesson school and perform the publication of the bulletin "spotted cavy orchid", the support of the business trip to living-in-Thailand Japan Embassy service.
History
- I am active in 16 volunteers who are resident in 1990 as Phuket Japanese society club and start.
- For 1997 ten years a year, I publish the first bulletin (spotted cavy orchid in the back)
- I start a study session becoming the forerunner of the Phuket supplementary lesson school in September, 1998.
- In November, 1998, a book, video rental service start.
- In December, 1998, it is the first foreign countries patrol health consultation by Labor Welfare Corp.
- In 2000, I authorize Phuket Japanese supplementary lesson school.
- In February, 2004, the first Phuket Japanese Festival is held
- In June, 2005, the second Phuket Japanese Festival is held
- In December, 2005, it is kamala 慰霊之碑除幕式
- February 24, 2007 third Phuket Japanese festival
- March 7, 2009 fourth Phuket Japanese festival
- I move the secretariat and the supplementary lessons school to the prince of Songkhla University Phuket campus yard on November 1, 2013

Member
If I am resident in a Thai country and am an adult having Japanese nationality, the enrollment is possible in anyone. The member has two kinds of "a member" and "the supporting member".

Phuket Japanese supplementary lesson school
On September 1, 1998, I install supplementary lessons preparations school. On February 1, 2000, it is Phuket Japanese supplementary lesson school formally. I set up the supplementary lessons school governing board under Phuket Japanese society and deal with administration by the self-act effort of the residence Japanese now [1]. For the children in the compulsory education period resident in Phuket and outskirts area, I follow Japanese education system and do continuing education with Japanese, and, in 2008, 49 are registered from a first grader to a junior high school third grader. There is a friendly relationship between a Japanese organization of Bangkok and receives the patrol instruction by the teacher of 泰日協会学校, the bailout from the Bangkok Japanese chamber of commerce.
Phuket revival Committee
The Japanese meeting supported urgent support and revival of Phuket that suffered from Sumatra offing earthquake of 2004 led by Phuket revival Committee. A damage performed distribution of boiled rice, a safety introduction, the introduction of the lodging just after that and I provided secretariat space more as a local support room of the Japanese Government (temporary counselor's office) and supported the activity of the Japanese Government. In addition, I finished a one year-limited project after a tsunami in setup, 2006. Minister of Foreign Affairs commendation is conferred for the devoted activity [2]. On December 26, 2005, a Thai tsunami victim memorial service monument was erected by the meeting.
