Summary

With a great merger of the Meiji that the Meiji government promoted, 3 villages of Takase-mura, Konuki village, the Zhongfang village were complicated in Shizuoka Joto county in 1889, and Satsuka village was installed. In addition, Joto county merges with Sano county, and Ogasa-gun is founded, and the Satsuka village will belong to Ogasa-gun, too. Then the domain of the village did not have the change as 50 years, but it merged with Iwaname-mura, Ogasa-gun in Pacific War さなかの 1943, and 新制佐束村 was established. With a great merger of the postwar Showa, I was complicated with the Satsuka village with Ogasa-gun Hijikata village in 1955, and Joto village was founded.

Name of the village

Origin of the name of a village

It comes from "the narrow bunch name of a village town" where "Satsuka" ever existed. A use example of "the narrow bunch volost" was seen in documents of the Nara era and was done with one of 11 volost that belonged to 遠江国城飼郡 according to it [1]. It is said that will of [1] that "I collect the running water of the valley and bundle it up and spread" both notation of "Satsuka" and "the narrow bunch" in is loaded with, and the mountain stream which flowed out of Takase and Satani of Konuki expresses a state bundled up in Zhongfang [1]. In addition, the phonetic symbol of "Satsuka" is "さづか" and is not "さずか". Judging from "arriving, and the Japanese reading of "the bunch" being" (I sleep), this is clear.

Current use situation

With Kakegawa-shi new establishment of 2005, all the domains of the old Satsuka village are included in Kakegawa-shi. The word of "Satsuka" is not used by the address notation of Kakegawa-shi, but, speaking of "Satsuka," is used as a word for the old Satsuka village whole area even now. As a name of the public accommodation such as place name and Kakegawa such as Mt. Satsuka, the Satsuka River City Satsuka Elementary School, Kakegawa City Satsuka kindergartens, it just remains. In addition, I am often used for public welfare when I am used as a name of the stores including the drugstores, and the cake which named the name of "Satsuka" is released.

Derivative

Satsuka
Various kinds are on the paper, but a kind of the Japanese paper includes paper called "Satsuka". It is described with [2], "楮紙 native to the Totomi country narrow bunch volost (existing Daitoumachi, Ogasa-gun, Shizuoka) is for an account book" by "Koujien", and the origin of these words is written down in the narrow bunch town when there is it. In addition, "I see さづか -, and I am transcribed into" [Satsuka] [2] as an entry by ibidem. A phonetic symbol of "Satsuka" in this way understands that it is "さづか" not "さずか".

Place name in the village

Change of the place name

The Joto county Satsuka village - Ogasa-gun Satsuka village - Ogasa-gun Joto village era
The great merger of the Meiji was carried out on the basis of the scale that could run an elementary school, and I was complicated with Takase-mura that was a unity since Edo, Konuki village, the Zhongfang village, and it was in Satsuka village, and it was each in "a ward" of Murashita. When I founded it and merged with Iwaname-mura later, and Satsuka village was established newly, along with Takase, Konuki, Zhongfang, Iwaname-mura became the ward of the Satsuka village, too. When I found it and merge with Hijikata village, and Joto village was set up, these four wards were just maintained, but the name of "the Satsuka village" will disappear from the address notation. The Joto village admitted Nakamura, but the system of this ward did not have the change then afterwards either.
The Daitoumachi, Ogasa-gun times
Originally unification reorganized an autonomous district (in the credit in self-government organization since "a village" of the Edo era almost the area in the range of the larger section of a village) where there was 40 it to 15 under this system that an "administrative section" system was introduced into by a town when Joto village merged with Ohamamachi, and Daitoumachi was established in Daitoumachi. I assumed upper Satsuka ward, Zhongfang ward and Iwaname ward lower Satsuka ward in Satsuka in Takase ward and Konuki ward. In addition, under this system, I placed conventional Takase, Konuki, Zhongfang, an autonomous district of Iwaname in each as Satsuka ward, a small ward of the lower Satsuka ward. The range of the old Satsuka village will be in this way placed only as an elementary school of old China precinct. 2 administrative section 4 small ward systems followed in the Daitoumachi times, but were often referred as "Satsuka" in a mass afterwards because it was a precinct of Daito municipality Satsuka Elementary School. In the Satsuka Elementary School area, Takase, Konuki, Zhongfang, 4 small ward opposition athletic meets of Iwaname were cosponsored every year. It was the middle unit that Daitoumachi settled intentionally, and, in upper Satsuka ward and the lower Satsuka ward, the unity every the shared territorial bonding organization 4 small ward from handed-down convention to constitute Satsuka and it which were an old village for the actual situation (elementary school of old China precinct) was strong. In addition, confusion is seen in address notation around Isaki who is subsection, and the area that transcribes the area on the autonomous district and a real address (larger section of a village), and does not agree is seen partly.
The Kakegawa-shi times
When Daitoumachi and Kakegawa-shi (old system), Osugacho found it on April 1, 2005, and merge, and new Kakegawa-shi is established; for all the cities of an elementary school of old China precinct or the Meiji because "a district" said before it by the former village unit after the merger very much with "a ward" in a former village (almost organize the self-government of the larger section of a village unit) from the Edo era, rearranging was performed. The range of the old Satsuka village (Satsuka elementary school of old China precinct) in this way became "the Satsuka district". We had two wards of upper Satsuka ward, the lower Satsuka ward at the beginning of merger under Satsuka district, and it was the hierarchical structure called the small ward by two, but because shared territorial bonding-like about the intentional area percent in the Daitoumachi times called upper Satsuka ward and the lower Satsuka ward, being gathered up was thin, the question was started by area inhabitants, and, from 2006, the unit called upper Satsuka ward and the lower Satsuka ward was abolished, and Takase, Konuki, Zhongfang, Iwaname where a small ward was handled until now revived each as an autonomous district (large ward) in the bottom. Satsuka develops the making of community-based welfare and health, self-government activity including the promotion of the local culture now as the integrated self-government organization "district" that is the unity of 4 autonomous districts.

The main industry of the Satsuka village was secondary industry mainly on primary industries and the industry mainly on agriculture and the forestry. I am known for Doi brewing ground and the socket wrench which brew sake, and repeated a winning prize at a competitive show as the ground of the establishment of a business of the well-known company including Ko-ken Tool Co., Ltd. occupying a high share.
