The Paris Orleans railroad (Compagnie du Chemin de fer de ParisàOrléans, abbreviated designation PO,) is one of six main railroad companies which are a forerunner of French Japanese National Railways (SNCF). I had route network to the southwestern part of France from male terRitz Paris station (after 1900 Orsay Station). I unified midi railroads (Compagnie des Chemins de fer du Midi) in 1934 and became the Paris Orleans midi railroad, and it was a part of SNCF more in France Japanese National Railways on January 1, 1938. The Paris Orleans train service built the route network more than 11,700km by the SNCF establishment.
The Paris Orleans railroad is established in 1838 and lets routes from Paris to Orleans start a business in 1843. Furthermore, I acquired the route to the area in southwestern France, the Central Highlands area by transfer and the purchase.
From a technical point of view, progress and the improvement of the locomotive that the Paris Orleans train service was carried out for the purpose of improvement of the economy attract attention. The names such as カミーユ ポロンソー (Camille Polonceau), Francois Tami Shie (François Tamisier), ヴィクトール フォルケーノ (Victor Forquenot), Ernest ポロンソー (Ernest Polonceau, nephew of カミーユ), Andre シャプロン (AndréChapelon) are mentioned for the famous engineer of the company. In addition, the Paris Orleans railroad is a pioneer of the railway electrification along with S.R. The sections from the male terRitz station to Orsay Station start a business on May 28, 1900. This section was electrified by a direct current 600V third rail method. This business was accomplished by industrialist Leon シャニョ (Léon Chagnaud).
There was that the first full-scale electrification by direct current 1,500V was made between Paris - ヴィエルゾン (Vierzon).
