The Irish national flag is green; consisting of three colors of white, the bitter orange [1]. When it was adopted as a national flag of Irish Free State in 1922 and it enforced the new constitution in 1937 and was renamed to a yell republic, it was established as a national flag in a constitution. Flagpole side (Hoist) becomes green (other way around with Cote d'Ivoire). South Ireland (from 1921 to 1922) before the independence used the thing that a yellow harp was drawn on the green tract of land although being unofficial.

The tricolor flag was used first by Thomas Francis マハー in 1848. It was raised with a green flag written as "Irish Republic" in the case of a revolt on central post office (GPO) in Easter of 1916, and a tricolor flag came to be recognized as a national flag.
