Norihide Akamatsu

Norihide Akamatsu (あかまつのりひで, age ignorance - Keicho era October 1, 5 (November 6, 1600)) is a military commander of the Azuchimomoyama era. I am considered to be the present head of a household of the noble Akamatsu last of Harima. Awa country Sumiyoshi (Itano-gun 23 village) 1 Mangoku feudal lord. The second son of Norifusa Akamatsu. The office and rank is upper Sosuke. But the existence of Norihide is not confirmed for historical materials.

I succeed to birthright by (1598), death of father, 則房 for Keicho era three years. I take part in the west military by the Battle of Sekigahara of 1600 and take charge of the guard of flat Noguchi from Osaka Tennoji, and I held out a siege, but I receive the attack of the Hideaki Kobayakawa and others who went over to the east forces, and Sawa Yamashiro falls, and it is said to the Sawa Yamashiro main enclosure which is a castle of Mitsunari Ishida that Norihide escaped just before the fall of a castle before a decisive battle.

After an escape, I relied on Masanori Fukushima, but was made to kill in 戒光寺 of Kyoto without being permitted.
