An Achille Lauro case (a goes berserk ラウロ ごうじけん) is the passenger boat takeover case that occurred in 1985. Including this case, it was a factor to let Reagan Administration decide the bombing as the カッザーフィー (Gaddafi) punishment in Libya as for a series of terrorist incidents at the time.

A takeover of the ships is "hijacking", too, but originally describes it with "seajack" in consideration of a use in the Japanese zone as follows.

Seajack case

On October 7, 1985, four men of the armed Palestine frente held Italian passenger boat Achille Lauro in the middle of a voyage toward country Port Said from Alexandria, Egypt.

The seajacker let a ship go to Syrian Tal toes while holding a passenger and a crew hostage and required the release of 50 members of the Palestine frente which was in the Israeli camp in those days. When the Tal toes arrival in port was refused, I shot at Jewish American man passenger who got on the wheelchair, Leon クリングホーファー, and seajackers pushed it to the sea and killed it. The ship performed a brain to Port Said in a time and, after 2-day negotiations, the seajacker surrendered in exchange for freedom laissez-passer and abandoned a ship and I boarded Boeing 737 of Egypt Air and left for Tunisia (this Boeing 737 will be destroyed by Egypt Air 648 flights hijacking case later).

I was intercepted, and the landing to the NATO forces シゴネラ navy air base of Sicily was ordered by the fighter F-14 that the plane concerned did 発艦 from carrier Saratoga of the U.S. Navy sixth fleet position on October 10. In the United States and the discord of the Italian authorities, the seajacker was arrested by an Italian side. The flight to the destination was permitted air other passengers (including アブー Abbas who probably is the reader of the seajacker) sequentially. About having forced the plane concerned to deviate from the course, Egypt required apology by the United States, but the United States states an objection.

Abbas was sheltered by the Iraqi サッダーム Hussein Administration, but the Hussein Administration was arrested by the Iraqi War of 2003 in Baghdad by collapse, U.S. forces and I woke up a detention bottom, the heart attack by U.S. forces on March 8, 2004 and died.

PLO (Palestine Liberation Organization) was brought an action against saying that I participated in death of Leon クリングホーファー, but the suit was withdrawn when PLO handed an indemnification to daughters of クリングホーファー unofficially. The money is used for the establishment of the libel prevention alliance Leon and Marilyn クリングホーファー mourning fund and is used though I confront terrorism by political and legal and economic means.

The Achille Lauro continued sailing the back of the case as passenger boat, but when a fire occurred in the Somalian sea near the shore on November 30, 1994, the Achille Lauro was abandoned and sank on December 2.

It was placed an order in 1938 and was started work in Netherlands フリシンゲン in 1939, but it was blocked by World War II and two times of air raids, and it was July, 1946 that I was launched as ship's name "Willem Lewis" (Willem Ruys) at the time. I was completed on November 21, 1947 and performed maiden voyage on December 2, 1947.

The mother ship was able to contain 900 people in 192 meters in total length, overall width 25 meters, 8.9 meters in depth, aggregate tonnage 21,110 tons. It was equipped with eight Sulzer diesel engines and comprised two screws. When a went berserk in 1964 and was sold to the line, I took the name of the former Naples mayor at the time and was changed the name to Achille Lauro. The extensive repair and modernization are made, and it is 1966 that I was placed on duty. It continued navigating it while encountering the seajack case of the next 1,985 years, but I suffered crushing damage by the fire that occurred on November 30, 1994 and sank on December 2 three days later. December 2 when Achille Lauro sank strangely was the day when a fellow passenger performed maiden voyage.
