After having acted as a prefectural high school teacher, I acted as Nishinoomote-shi congressist the ninth and ran for the Nishinoomote mayoral election of 2005.

I ran from five wards of Kagoshima, but lost the 46th member of the House of Representatives general election of 2012. The number of votes was 21,886 votes (16.9%); [2].

In 2010, I acted as the chairperson of the Mageshima measures special committee of the Nishinoomote-shi assembly, and a developer of Tokyo declared the invitation of U.S. carrier plane taking off and landing training facilities openly and permission of Kagoshima was a necessary development activity and, for what felling for approximately 170 hectares of Shimauchi constructed, showed an opinion when suspected of lacking in legality [3].

In the joint document which Japan-U.S. Security Consultative Committee announced on June 21, 2011, a request was active with Representative Seiken Akamine for Mageshima that floated to approximately 12km from the city area of Nishinoomote-shi having become the proposed site of the taking off and landing training of the U.S. carrier plane as part of realignment of U.S. forces in Japan to Ministry of Defense on July 7, the same year [4].

I ran from the Kagoshima electoral district, but lost the 23rd member of the House of Councilors ordinary election of 2013. The number of votes was 50,341 votes (7.40%); [5].

I ran from five wards of Kagoshima, but lost the 47th member of the House of Representatives general election of 2014. The number of votes was 25,168 votes (20.9%).

I act as Secretary General of meeting of the inhabitants who do not forgive United States Armed Forces facilities to Mageshima [2].
