The Shiga Board of Education (しがけんきょういくいいんかい) is the Board of Education of Shiga.

Summary

It is the administrative committee where jurisdiction performs of office work about the education in Shiga and is comprised of six committee members. An education chairperson as of June, 2014 Yoshitsugu Fujita (ふじたよしつぐ). In late years I work on education reform such as scholastic ability improvement, the high school reform.

Including the Board of Education secretariat which is an executive organ in charge of the office work of the Board of Education, I may call it the Board of Education in a broad sense. It is an execution person in charge of the office work of the Board of Education, and the superintendent of education who is the head of the secretariat holds an additional post of the committee member of the Board of Education. The superintendent of education as of June, 2014 Megumi Kawahara (かわはらさとし).
