The remains of Hanaizumi

The remains of Hanaizumi (はないずみいせき) are called the Kanamori remains in remains of the late Paleolithic period to be located to Hanaizumimachi, Ichinoseki-shi, Iwate Kanamori.

Summary

The remains of Hanaizumi are located on the bench of the Nagarekawa southern coast, and fossil bones such as a bison, (original cow) locking O, kind Hanai Malus Sieboldii harpoon cow [¹], a moose, Irish elk, the Elephas namadicus of the wild ox excavate it abundantly from the fossil floor consisting of the class of clay, peat, sand like 2.5 meters of thickness [²]. These animals group is in Hokkaido across the bridge of the ice that mammoth animal group is temporary, and it is thought that I went south to Honshu. The small mammal is discovered in these remains in sika, a wild boar, a badger, a hare elsewhere. A pointed utensil made of bone which made abrasion on the costal leader of the wild ox is discovered among these beast bones although being small amount.

In addition, the plant fossil (Ylla fir tree Sour Orange silver fir Picea Glehni Gui pine Pinus koraiensis) is excavated abundantly, too.

It is measured with before 3.5-16,000 years by radiocarbon dating. Movement life

It is thought that these remains were the place that dismantled the large mammal which Paleolithic Man hunted, so-called kill sites. If remains of the Old Stone Age are discovered more than 5,000 places in a chain of islands, it does not affect it and can imagine remains leaving the trace of the dugout from what is hardly discovered.
