The village where Aku Hara-mura (あぐはらむら) belonged to northwestern part, Kodama-gun of Saitama.
Geography
- A river: The Kanna River
History
- Kamiaguhara-mura, Shimoaguhara-mura, Wataze-mura merge by the municipality organization enforcement (1889) on April 1 in 1889, and Kodama-gun young Izumimura is established.
- Young Izumimura divides it (1949) to the north and south on December 1 in 1949, and Wataze-mura is established in Aku Hara-mura, the northern part in the southern part.
- It merges with Yanou-mura (1954) on September 1 in 1954 and founds Kamiizumimura.
