Origin, person

MLB Era

I am appointed in the draft 55th round (the whole 785th), and, on June 8, 1965, it is contracted by St. Louis Cardinals. After having been promoted to AAA grade Tulsa Oilers in 1969, on May 22, 1969, I transfer to San Diego Padres by two to two trade, and a measure makes its debut in the second, second basemans on May 24. I decorated the vivid debut to hit the three-base hit with a three-base hit, two at bats of eyes of the bottom of the fourth inning in a measure first turn at bat of the bottom of the first inning. I might defeat the first, but a batting average did not increase, and the major participation was over afterwards only in this 1 season after all. I belonged to AAA grade Hawaii islanders in AAA grade salt lake beads, 1971 in 1970.

NPB era

I join the ocean in 1972 and play an active part as a corner of the cleaning up to always sell stable blows for 30%. I win a diamond glove prize as a second baseman for .1973 years in 1972. I became the second baseman who represented professional baseball of the 1970s. It is being on the register roll until 1977 when it is got close to the long hair by a nickname of "the lion-maru" for special effects program "快傑 lion circle" at the time by a stern mustache, and a baseball team leaves Kawasaki.

I transfer to a giant by a money trade in 1978. I cut long hair and the mustache which became the trademark in the case of a transfer with a single stroke. Because there was Shozo Doi to a second baseman in the joining an organization first year, it was the full-time or part-time worker with the right fielder. I become the fourth the 42nd batter of the giant. The contract remained until 1981, but, in 1980, I received money of service of 10 million yen and was dismissed from the team policy of young upbringing in addition to low back pain (defense declined for this and led to the release from the ocean) peacefully in the middle in a season.

Retirement post

I lived a life of the comfortable retirement after a retirement for approximately ten years, but I acquire an immovable industrial license, and it is the salesman of the high-quality villa place. In California Santa Clara with the home, I run the batting center now [1].

Episode

What came to Japan without visiting Japan even if waited till when in 1972 that came for the first time in Japan just before camping. It is said that the appearance at that time came over with clothes, the fishing rod like the hippie with long hair. The strikeout that I participated in camping as going, a pinch hitter the next day, but the result is unshapely. It is said that Ryoichi Fukushima to see it was dumbfounded.

In two play intervals with Kei Yoneta Saburo and Daisuke Yamashita who were a shortstop, I was proud of an outstanding double play rate in those days in the league. The speed of the throw in particular surpasses it and has the left hand numb because Makoto Matsubara of the first baseman is too quick in a throw of シピン and is said to be it when I hated catching it.

When I seemed to have unique philosophy toward a fashion and entered the baseball stadium in psychedelic plain clothes in addition to a mustache and I put on a helmet and took the field in the second, the image called "a loud, wild field newborn baby" settled. However, the original fashion dropped a rumble after having transferred to a giant. In addition, I was angry at a pitch which hits the batter, and the twice during the game rushed for a mound for the giant era, too and hit a pitcher (Fumiaki Kadota of the ocean and Yasujiro Suzuki of Yakult), and leaving has been told (the leaving experience was in the ocean era, but it was hit back just after that by Katsuo Osugi when it depended on did not violence-involved, having hung sand in the home base in Toshiyuki Tanaka judgment call furiously and still hit Suzuki pitcher).

I was treated like a hanger-on to ignore even the supervision order for the ocean era, but it is said that I do not go against cleat bellboy yeah and answered his order with "yes Sir". However, it is said that I am completely treated like a hanger-on in = 1977 in the next year when bellboy yeah was dismissed from it, and this caused the giant transfer.

As for the ocean era, I called "a nagi" and "シギィ" and friendly feeling by a main nickname in Shigeo Nagashima, but called Manager Nagashima with the feeling of respect that I put "Mr. Nagashima" and distance after having transferred to a giant.

It was controlled by an underhand throw of 独持 at the time of the ocean being on the register roll by Kunikazu Ogawa of the giant, and the brook was called "シピン homicide".

Comics "do the best!!Tabuchi" from では, Yasuda but "let do it Giants じゃのう have been fed with game かあー with シビン.".

It was registered with the 38th once ^ a b, but I studied abroad, and the loser became vacant from registration, and pitcher Shigeyuki Takahashi changed baseball to a turn and the eleventh that it was in the U.S. minor league. Takahashi became the 33rd from 1973 when I returned to the ocean, the following day.
