Hamilton (New Zealand)
The city where the Kitajima north central part ワイカト district of New Zealand plays a key role in Hamilton (British: Hamilton, Maori: Kirikiriroa). The urban area population as of 2005 is approximately 185,000 people. It is the fourth place in a city of New Zealand.

History
The place where there was current Hamilton was the place where there were the villages of the Maori (New Zealand indigenous people) formerly. I took the name of the Charles Fain Hamilton captain who died of land war of 1864 in New Zealand and named Hamilton after a British arrived at the ground.
Hamilton became the city of New Zealand from establishment of Hamilton in 1936 after 72.

Approximately 15,000 people learn in the ワイカト University.

Hamilton has three sister cities appointed by Sister Cities International, Inc. (SCI):
