Shigehisa Tsuda

Shigehisa Tsuda (つだしげひさ, astronomy 18 years (1549) - Kanei era 11 years (1634)) is a military commander of the early period of Edo era from the Azuchimomoyama era. I was born in the Yamashiro country. A child of Tsuda Takashige. The entering the government service is 従五位下遠江守. The popular name is Yosaburo. 号 is a way attendant. It is Heizo Tsuda, Juji Tsuda, 津田重似 for a child.


After having served Muromachi Shogunate 15th brigadier forces Yoshiaki Ashikaga, I served Mitsuhide Akechi and acted as the van of the Akechi forces that attacked the instinct temple where Nobunaga Oda stayed by the Honnoji-Temple Incident (1582) for Tensho era ten years. After Mitsuhide Akechi was defeated by Hideyoshi Hashiba and others by a battle of Yamasaki, I fled into Mt. Koya-san, but it was permitted in the next year and served Hideyoshi and was done with attachment of Hidetsugu Toyotomi. I had Toyotomi family name with the vassal of Shigenao Imaeda and others et al. (1594) in 奏請 of Hideji in August for Bunroku three years, and Shigehisa was conferred 従五位下遠江守 to.

I was called into Toshinaga Maeda with Heizo of the child (1596) in the Keicho era first year and, after Hideji suicide, became a vassal in 4,000 bale. Above-mentioned Shigenao Imaeda becomes Maeda vassal for the same period, too.

I participated in the fight of the Hokuriku area of the previous country house (1600) for Keicho era five years and attacked the Daishoji, Kaga castle of Munenaga Yamaguchi of the west forces as the preliminary skirmish of the fight of Sekigahara. I gave a military exploit by a fight of this Daishoji Castle and acted as Daishoji castle warden after the war. I did seventy years old for Keicho era ten years, and Juji of the second son inherited birthright. For Kanei era 11 years, I died at 86 years old.
