The stereo gum (Stereogum) is American MP3 blog, a music information website. I am known as one of the first MP3 blog and develop a website handling complex music information now. Including ウェビー prize, I am commended for many blogger Prize and Web Award [¹].

Summary

In January, 2002, I started as MP3 blog by Scott Lapatine in the United States. In 2006, I receive capital infusion from The Pilot Group and continue spreading and am sold to Buzz Media in November, 2007. I established sisters site Videogum which handled picture contents in April, 2008. The stereo gum presents a website handling complex music information now in the same way as the general music media.

Best list

The stereo gum announces the annual best album in a ranking. I showed various ear end lists before under the pretense of "Gummy Award", but do not perform it now.
