Western line (Queensland)

The western flight (English not to perform western: Western Line) is a pike of QR (Queensland railroad) binding kana mullah Paroo city (en:Shire of Paroo) station (Cunnamulla) together from Toowoomba Station of Australia Queensland Toowoomba City (en:Toowoomba Region) [1].

Some branch lines including the Great Western Line (Great Western Line) diverge from the western line. I describe these branch lines by this article.

Summary

QR (Queensland railroad) route map

A part west than Toowoomba Station is a western line among the pikes which link the south west district of the inland to state capital Brisbane City of the East Coast (en:Brisbane City Council). The east is a main line than Toowoomba Station, and a southern line stretches out a route elsewhere to the south starting from Toowoomba Station. When approximately 400km advances to the west that I went ahead approximately 200km through from Toowoomba Station of the starting point northwest more, the western line reaches チャールビル Station (Charleville). It is approximately 200km faster in south-southwest and arrives at the kana mullah terminal station afterwards.

A branch line (in the real turning point Tycanba of approximately 3km ahead of the Dolby station) to Jandowae diverges in north-northwest a branch line to Glenmorgan to the west in Dolby station (Dalby) (from Toowoomba Station 83.19km). A branch line to wand reader Ann station (Wandoan) diverges in north-northwest in miles station (Miles) (from Toowoomba Station 209.29km), and the new establishment of the slat Basin railroad (en:Surat Basin railway) which binds moo a lah short-circuiting line together is planned more by the wand reader Ann station. The Great Western line which is a branch line to quill P station (Quilpie) diverges to the west in waist gate station (Westgate) (from Toowoomba Station 636.45km).

A freight train of QR National transports coal from McAllister station (Macalister), John Dalian Station (Jondaryan) to the Brisbane Port via Toowoomba Station, Maine line [2].

As for the long distance passenger train of the travel train to communicate directly from Rome street Station of Brisbane City, it is traveled two a week coming and going at the Toowoomba Station - チャールビル Station interval.

History

Toowoomba Station - kana mullah station interval
A route was built in form to extend the main line which started a business to Toowoomba Station in 1867 and I hung it in 1868, the following day and opened it to Dolby Station [3]. Practiced medicine from 1877 through 1880 to Rome Station (Roma) [4], and opened [5] for the stockbreeder of the inland from 1883 through 1888 to チャールビル Station [6]; [7]. Practiced medicine from 1897 through 1898 to the terminal kana mullah station [8]; [9] [10].
Toowoomba Station - glow nest station interval (the whole line abolition)
Diverged to the north from Toowoomba Station in 1883, and a branch line to high Fields Cabarlah district station (Highfields) started a business, and opened it to glow nest Station (Crows Nest) in 1886 [6]; [7]. It was abolished in 1961 [11].
Kings soap station - Haden interval (the whole line abolition)
I diverged to the north from Kings soap station (Kingsthorpe) (from Toowoomba Station 19.75km) in 1910, and a branch line to Haden started a business [12]. It was abolished later.
Branch line (the whole line abolition) which diverges at オーキー Station
I diverged to the north from オーキー Station (Oakey) (from Toowoomba Station 30.50km) in 1913, and a branch line (en:Oakey–Cooyar railway line, Queensland) to Cooyar started a business. Diverged southwest from オーキー Station in 1915, and a different branch line to Evanslea (Mount Russell) started a business, and opened extension to Cecil plane Station (Cecil Plains) to the west in 1919 [12]; (63.01km). All were abolished later.
Branch line (in the Dolby station - Bell interval, I abolish it) which diverges at Dolby station
Diverged northeast from the Dolby station in 1906, and a branch line to Bell started a business [8]; (37.91km). A different branch line started a business from the Dolby station to Tara in 1911 [12] and I extended to Glenmorgan in 1931 and opened it to Meandarra in 1927 [13]. Different branch lines from the Dolby station to Jandowae started a business in 1914 [12]. In the Dolby station - Bell interval, it was abolished later.
Chinchilla station - Barakula interval (the whole line abolition)
Diverged for transportation of the railroad construction material to the north from chinchilla station (Chinchilla) (from Toowoomba Station 164.04km) in 1912, and the branch line of the light railway to Barakula started a business [12]; [4]. It was abolished later.
Miles station - wand reader Ann station interval
The branch lines from the miles station to the wand reader Ann station started a business in 1914 [12].
Rome Station - Injune interval (the whole line abolition)
I diverged to the north from Rome Station (from Toowoomba Station 350.34km) in 1916, and a branch line to Orallo started a business [12] and I extended to Injune in 1920 and opened it [13]. It was abolished later.
Waist gate station - quill P station interval

Feeder routes from the waist gate station to Cooladdi started a business as part of a Great Western railroad plan in 1913 and opened extension to the quill P station in 1917 [12]. The Great Western railroad did not extend earlier from a quill P station without coming true, but this section is called "Great Western line" by a trace [1]; [14].
