Summary

The common car reserved seat of limited express "Shirasagi" or "the fold" can use the coming and going from Shizuoka Station, Hamamatsu Station, Nagoya Station to the free area. But it is only two ways of "the Shirasagi & fold course" of "the fold" a return "Shirasagi" a return "a fold" "fold & Shirasagi course" of "Shirasagi" or going going to be available; round-trip; or round-trip "a fold" together; the course called "Shirasagi" is not available together. I use the common car unreserved seat of the Tokaido Shinkansen "Hikari" "echo" between Shizuoka Station, Hamamatsu Station - Nagoya Station - Maibara Station and can change it with "Shirasagi" at Maibara Station.

As a general rule, the free area outside is invalid in the getting off future, but a stopover is possible only for Gero Station, Takayama Station, Hida-Furukawa Station. In this case I divide a reserved seat and can use it. For example, a reserved seat ticket of "Hidafurukawa - Toyama" is published "Takayama - Hidafurukawa" "Nagoya - Takayama" when I use "a fold" from Nagoya Station to Toyama Station and stop over at Takayama Station and Hida-Furukawa Station.

The free area can get on and off the common car unreserved seat including the limited express train freely for four days. The free area is section with less than it of West Japan Railway Co. (West Japan Railway), IR Ishikawa railroad, Aino style and mountain train service.

I can receive the discount privilege guidebook of the tourist facility when I show our ticket at an appointed tourist information center.

Tomiyama-free ticket

It was time-limited, and "a Toyama-free ticket" was released in commemoration of what restored the whole line Takayama Main Line which was suspended because of a flood some sections in the autumn of 2007 by Central Japan Railway. The free area is a chisel in Toyama, but the points where the coming and going from the Nagoya city to the free area are set, and one of going and the return is the "fold" use, and the other is the "Shirasagi" use are the same as "a sightseeing in Hokuriku-free ticket". The price is 15,000 yen of the same amount, too (as for the child use, at half price). It is time-limited from from September 8, 2007 to December 26 and February 9, 2008 to June 30 for the period of use (but it is not available for the many visitors period).

Privileges such as the discount are what is received by the main difference with "a sightseeing in Hokuriku-free ticket" being range of the free area, validity being three days, an appointed tourist facility and restaurant, and showing a direct ticket.
