John McKie (philosopher)

It is an Australian philosopher with John McKie (John Leslie Mackie, from August 25, 1917 to December 12, 1981).

I am known by having insisted on a mistake theory to relate to morally in a study domain of the metaethics, and there is "ethics" (Ethics: Inventing Right and Wrong) in the masterpiece.

Career

I was born between mother of father and the school teacher who were a professor of the Sydney University in Sydney in 1917 and received instruction of Jon Anderson of the philosopher in Sydney University and learned in cage Orr college of Oxford University until 1940 after having graduated in 1938. I went to the front as a military engineer in World War II in Middle East and Italy. I took the birch in Otago University of New Zealand for an interval for 1955 through 4 and tell me in Sydney University for four years from 1959. I would go over to the U.K. in 1963 and worked as a professor of the philosophy in York University until 1967. I am made a researcher of Oxford University and become the member of the British academy in 1974. I died by a cancer in Oxford in 1981.
