Shirakawa, Kumamoto church
Shirakawa, Kumamoto church (くまもとしらかわきょうかい) is a church of the Japanese Christ religious community in Chuo-ku, Kumamoto-shi, Kumamoto affiliated with Methodist communion.
If the propagator of the Methodist Church was long, Asuka Kenjiro borrowed a rented house in Tooricho, Kumamoto and, in 1883, started missionary work from December 23. I found a church on March 29, 1884.
I purchase a site on March 25, 1893, and 献堂 does a new assembly hall on December 16. Kawase Kotaro becomes a clergyman in 1908. In 1924, Mabel Lee propagator established King Sakae church kindergarten.
It becomes the Japanese Christ religious community position in 1941 and is renamed to Kumamoto Sannen-zaka Walk church. In 1945, I am destroyed by fire in a cathedral and a parsonage. I worship afterwards in King Sakae kindergarten. In 1949, I sell a church site and build the new assembly hall to a propagator building trace. In 1950, I am renamed to Shirakawa, Kumamoto church.
