Shingo Tsuda
Shingo Tsuda (つだしんご, from March 29, 1881 to April 18, 1948) is a businessman of the Taisho era, the Showa period. I acted as the second president of Kanebo.
Career
I am born in Nukata-gun, Aichi Nomicho, Okazaki (existing Okazaki-shi) as four men of Okazaki clansman, Kaoru Nishiyama six [1]. I become an adopted child of 津田於菟 which acted as the section manager of engineering works at Fukui prefectural government office at the age of 7 years old. I advance from the Fukui Prefectural Fukui elementary school of old China normal school to the Fukui high school [2]. After having done an unemployed person for two years, I enter the Keio University preparatory course [3]. After the graduation from university, it is entered the company as a factory worker by bell deep water spinning. I take office as (1911), the Saidaiji plant manager in 1911. Then, I become the Yodogawa plant manager. I become a vice-president in (1930) in 1930 and hit the solution of the labor dispute (so-called Kanebo dispute) that takes it in June from April of the year, and occurred in eight factories. Future affairs are entrusted with just after that by Sanji Muto and take office as the president [4].
I step forward positively abroad in wartime. With the Korean Peninsula as a start, I went into Manchurian, Mainland China, the Philippines. I pushed forward non-fiber industrialization and enlarged business for the heavy industries such as a synthetic fiber (vinylon) and silk soap, development of the synthetic rubber, chemical industry such as the medicine manufacture business, diesel business, weapon business, the airplane production business. I changed the company name with bell deep water industry in (1944) in 1944 [5].
It is appointed the third war crime (1945) from allied powers on December 2 in 1945 and is arrested as a Class-A war criminal. I die because of cerebral hemorrhage (1948) on April 18 in 1948 [6]. 67 years old death. I am recommended as Okazaki-shi honorary citizen (1961) on July 1 in 1961 [7].
