Rei Ito (Rei minding it, 1933 〈 1933 >2 14 days a month -) is a scholar of English literature, an essayist, a translator. Winning 1991 Kodansha essay prize. A professor at former Nippon University art department.

Father Hitoshi Ito (Art Academy Prize receiving a prize in Japan, former Japan member of the Japan Academy of Arts, Tosho size (existing Hitotsubashi University) leaving school in midcourse) of a literary critic, the novelist.
