The osmeterium (learn write) is the part such as the corner giving off the bad smell that the larva of the butterfly of the swallowtail butterfly department has. The color varies according to a kind, but it is thought that all larva is intended to protect the body from an enemy. The inside of the osmeterium is filled with body fluid and can put an osmeterium in and out by its pressure increase and decrease.
