Station structure
An unmanned station having the simple system home of one 1 line. The ticketing duties at our station are not performed to perform the payment handling of fare in a train. There is not the wicket and goes in and out of a home through a notch part of the fence leading to stairs.
Any place other than the customs shed roof attached to a home, the thing to be able to call a station building does not exist. There is not the stand (including the vending machine), too, but, about the restroom, there is indication of the position guidance on the home.
In addition, a bicycle parking lot and a parking lot (around several) are installed in our station, and the automotive access road exists any place other than stairs. It seems that the commuting attending school visitor of peripheral villages uses these facilities mainly.

A mountain and several houses, tables catch Yamaguchi prefectural road 5 lap east Mikawa line in the back of our station and contact with the Nishiki River. There is a bridge (I pass 渡里 () bridge) at the station square and can go over to National highway No. 187 of the opposite bank by car. There is an inn in the place that I crossed, and a public telephone is installed. In addition, when around 100m moves to the upper reaches direction of the Nishiki River without going over to the opposite bank, there is 渡里地区 where it is for a bridge name, and there is mom-and-pop store.
When there is the village (Yamanouchi) with the Iwakuni-shi government office Nekasa branch office (former Miwacho Nekasa branch) when I move Yamaguchi prefectural road 5 lap east Mikawa Line more along the Nekasa River and leaves for the depths more, 渡里地区 reaches encounter district with the # Mikawa Mu valley, the # Iwaya Kannon and the # Kannon waterwheel でかまるくんのある Iwaya district.
Besides, it is dotted with villages, and, along National highway No. 187 via the chasm, there is four-in-hand God (I occupy it and chew) who is the center of Miwacho, Iwakuni-shi at Kawayama Station of neighbor Station.
- A financial institution: Yamanouchi has Nekasa postal agency. It is a little over 2km through Yamaguchi prefectural road 5 lap east Mikawa Line from our station. There is not the ATM.
Mikawa Mu valley
The theme park of the empire which I reused the gallery trace of the tungsten mine (Kuga mine) and set up under the ground.
From our station is around 3.5km via Yamaguchi prefectural road 5 lap east Mikawa line. The details such as business hours are reference in an official page of "the Mikawa Mu valley" that they showed in the outside link.
Iwaya Kannon cave
It is from the cave enshrined the view sound image that became Ishibotoke where the surface was covered in lime and the image as a result that a drop of water of the stalactite continued dripping to a wooden statue said to have ticked it away in Furuki of the camphor tree for many years. It is in approximately 4.5km, the Iwaya district from our station.
I received the designation of the natural monument (1934) from a country in January in 1934.
Kannon waterwheel でかまるくん
It is a waterwheel for the sightseeing of 12.036m in diameter [2] set up (1990) in the Iwaya district by Mikawa-cho at the time in May in 1990. It was a waterwheel of the best size in Japan at the time of the construction [2].
Closing a bargain soba with the buckwheat flour which I sawed with a waterwheel as raw materials and summer somen looking for customers are carried out as an event.
