It is the city of the South Chuubu buffalo county of United States of America Nebraska, and Kearney (British: Kearney, English pronunciation: [ˈkɑrni/] "kar-ney"[2]) is county seat of the county. The population by the national census is 30,787 people for 2,010 years [1] and is a populous city to the fifth in the state. There is Nebraska University Kearney school in the city.
Kearney City is a major city of the Kearney urban area extending over buffalo county and the Kearney county.

History
2 miles (3km) were southeastern than a current town, and the town of Kearney was called a dough B town. I was moved to the current place and was named Kearney afterwards for Fort Kearney which was the advanced base of the U.S. Army which there was along Oregon trail at the mid-19th century. This fort was named for Steven W Kearney colonel, a later general. The second "e" was always added by mistake among spelling "Kearney" of Kearney by a member of post office which got a wrong spelling of the name of the town, and it was immobilized. The position of Kearney City was fixed to the northern coast of the Pratt river and began growth under the influence of a railroad steadily.
The recent growth of Kearney City was dramatic. The city limits spread out rapidly to the north, the east and the west. The city's greatest employer is good summary tongue hospital and Nebraska University Kearney school. In addition, the head office, Eaton Corp. of buckle company, Baldwin filters, Marshal engine company and waist company Pharmaceuticals are big employers.
Kearney tornado
On May 29, 2008, Kearney City was attacked by three tornadoes. A tornado began to attack it at about half past 5 p.m. and lasted approximately 15 minutes. Most of the damage deviated to the northern part of the town.
Geography
Kearney is located in 40°42'3" N 99°4'52" W / 40.70083 degrees N 99.08111 degrees W [3]. Of these, according to United States of America Bureau of the Census, as for the city limits entire surface product, in the land, 11.0 square mile (28.4 km2), the area of the sea are 0.2 square mile 11.2 square mile (29.0 km2) (0.6 km2).

Municipal administration prefecture
I adopt a manager of municipal administration Committee, city method in Kearney City. Municipal administration Committee is the legislature and performs policy making. Five committees picked from the whole city act as the term of office of 4 years, but half is re-elected every two years. Manager of city was an executive officer and was adopted in 1950.
Municipal administration Committee appoints manager of city, and manager of city recommends a field needing it where the practice of the policy, the formation of the budget, nomination of Director all parts and a municipal administration committee participate in. One of municipal administration Committee committees is elected by mutual vote by the mayor. The current mayor is Stanley Clough [4].

Education
University
There is Nebraska University Kearney school in the city. In this campus, buildings more than 37 are on the site of 235 acres (0.94 km2). I was added to a university system in 1991 and became the Nebraska University Kearney school.

The Kearney community education school district has jurisdiction over kindergarten 3 garden, elementary school 12, junior high school two and Kearney Senior High School [5]. In addition, a pro-religion school in three schools and the young man rehabilitation treatment center with Kearney west Senior High School [6].
Culture
There is Nebraska art museum collecting the artworks in the state in Kearney. The paths of great Pratt Kawamichi archway Memorial stepping over expressway Route 80 between states is to 2 miles of east (3km) of the city, and it is in the museum which has the respect for the history of the local reclamation. I was used in movie "about Schmidt" of 2002 here. There is 929 seats of Robert M Mary men entertainment center completed in 2006 in the central elementary school.
An avian city storm to belong to the United States hockey league bases on Kearney. The game meeting place is the beer eroticism event center accommodating 5,000 people.
There are sander head ブリューイング and two microbreweries called Pratt valley viewer Lee in the city center of commerce.
