Ittoku Tosa
The illustrator of the painter of The Tosa School who Ittoku Tosa (unknown とさいっとく, the straight year of a person's death) ran early in the Edo era from the Azuchimomoyama era, and played an active part. I am transcribed into Kazunori. I am said to be both a disciple of Kokichi Tosa and the younger brother, but am not sure.
Short biography
Generally, it is said that I played an active part for (from 1596 to 1615) in the Keicho era year ("Fuso masterpiece biography"). However, it is written down to "the description of Mt. Hoshino erection" when I described a painting on a folding screen and wall in a reception hall and the study of the Kita House of Musashi country Kawagoe in (1639) for Kanei era 15 years. In addition, Shinano country Iida feudal lord Yasumoto Wakizaka wants to write it down (1644) during a little over one year from April in the Masayasu first year when it was the local allotment of the lower palace which was an Imperial demesne, and an illustrator called "樗斎 (ちょさい) one advantage" appears in "the Shimodate diary" several times. It is thought that the real activity time is prolonged at least until this time if this is Ittoku Tosa. In addition, a Chinese classics eggplant form mark of "the Buddhism" is stamped some works including "林和靖図" with and understands that one advantage got Buddhism rank. Kazunori comes to Yasumoto in the article on "Shimodate diary" November 21, and Yasumoto writes down the state. The realistic "quail figure" which I learned from "a figure of of institute of painting painter, 李安忠 of Chinese Soong quail" remains a lot, but the Shojo Shokadou-like light wonder gain the favor of the detached style and handles the emotional miniature of the Tosa School tradition.
