First Halifax viscount, Charles Wood (English: for Charles Wood, 1st Viscount Halifax, GCB, PC, from December 20, 1800 to August 5, 1885) are British politician, nobles.
I successively held post of cabinet minister under the Whig, the Liberal Party government of the about mid-19th century.

Career
On December 20, 1800, I am born as the eldest son of the second baronetage Sir Francis Rind Lee Wood and wife Ann (maiden name back) [4].
I enter a school of higher grade in Oxford University cage Orr college via Eton College. I acquire a degree of master of arts () (MA) in single man of arts () (BA), 1824 in 1821 [4].
I was picked from the great Grimsby electoral district () from 1826 through 1831 by a member of common people Diet decision. I was picked from the Ripon electoral district () from 1831 through 1832 afterwards over Halifax electoral district (), 1865 through 1866 over wear ham electoral district (), 1832 through 1865 [4].
I belonged to the Whig [5] and married daughter Mary of the second gray earl Charles Gray of the cadre in 1829 [4]. Because the gray earl tended to harden an important post in relatives, he came to be appointed after this marriage by the important duty of the party, too [5].
I successively held post of cabinet minister during the period when the Whig took the government. Over 1832 through 1834 of the gray earl Cabinet period over Vice Minister Ministry of Finance (), 1835 through 1839 of the Viscount the second Melbourne Cabinet period for the Lord Vice Minister Department of the Navy (), the first John Russell Cabinet period acted as the Minister of Finance from 1846 through 1852 [4]; [3]. I deepened prime minister raschel and opposition over a financial problem for the Minister of Finance era. This opposition contributed to the authority drop of the raschel of the same period and opposition of Viscount Minister of Foreign Affairs Palmerston and the raschel in total from to 1848 through 1850 [6].
I succeeded to baronetage rank from father in 1846 [4].
Took the negative viewpoint in the coalition with the peel group (Conservative Party free trade group) [7], but join the cabinet as Secretary India supervision agency () in the coalition government Aberdeen earl cabinet of the Whig and the peel group formed from 1852 through 1855 [4]; [3]. I made an effort for the assembly passage of the Government of India Acts plan in 1853 [8]. In addition, for the election laws revision that Russel promoted in the cabinet, took the forward posture before the Crimean War outbreak, but came to insist on postponement like other cabinet ministers after a war outbreak in 1854 (was postponed by the decision of the Aberdeen earl); [9]. I joined the cabinet as a Minister of the Navy () over 1855 through 1858 of Viscount the first Palmerston period who followed [2].
I made an effort for Liberal Party organization from 1858 through 1859 by promoting a settlement of Palmerston viscount and the raschel with a Whig executive of Earl Clarendon earl and Granville et al. [10].
I acted as Minister charge in India () over Viscount the second Palmerston Cabinet of the Liberal Party government and 1859 through 1866 for the Earl second Russel Cabinet period [1]. I was made Halifax viscount in 1866 and attended a member of the House of Lords [3]. Of the first Gladstone Cabinet period acted as the Lord Privy Seal from 1870 through 1874 [4]; [3].
I died at 84 years old on August 8, 1885 [4].
