44M タシュ heavy tank (44M Tas nehéz harckocsi) is a tank developed during World War II in Hungary.

Development

In the spring of 1943, vice Manfred Corporation of ブダペシュト started the development of the new tank which could be opposed to T-34 of the Soviet Union.

The new tank was equipped with the 75mm tank gun of the long gun barrel and, having a design superior in 避弾経始, built armor of up to 120mm by welding. The weight was estimated at 38 tons. This German V tank bread ter; was more lightweight, but the tanks mounted with a 75mm gun were classified in a heavy tank in Hungary. The engine was considered for the use of the V-12 engine of T-34 at one time, but will be equipped with two V-8H engines made of vice Manfred who was used for toe Rahn tank after all. The main battery was 43 domestic models by prototype (43M), but German 7.5cm KwK 42 was going to be carried by mass production car.

However, on July 27, 1944, vice Manfred Corporation received the bombing with the U.S. military plane, and the タシュ trial manufacture number of cars producing was destroyed, and the plan was abandoned.
