Takashi Kimura (dyeing and weaving student)

Takashi Kimura (きむらたか, 1920 -) is a Japanese dyeing and weaving student, essayist.

Career

• I am born in the family running dyeing of - Nakagyo-ku, Kyoto-shi in 1920 and learn dyeing an inheritor if possible.
• I graduate from - girls' school in 1944 and find a job in the department of Kyoto Shimbun culture. I inherit business six years later.
• I hold - dyeing private exhibition every year in 1954. I study a dyeing and weaving design in parallel in New York.
• About 1958 - marriage.
• I move to London by the transfer of - husband in 1963. I learn history of fashion and study dyeing and weaving or textile design. In addition, I held a private exhibition in London.
