Summary

  • The route name is "Otsu, Takashima Line", but is not the route that connected both cities directly.
  • Because National highway No. 161 Takashima bypass was built (1992) to the east of the city area on April 1 in 1992, a part transferred in the prefectural road by an old national highway became the Shiga prefectural road 558 Shinasahi Takashima & Co., Ltd. line (しがけんどう 558 ごうしんあさひたかしません).
  • Kido, Otsu-shi (Shiga Station Exit intersection) - Imakatata (Lake Biwa Ohashi intersection) was transferred (2007) in Shiga in National highway No. 161 in parallel with Kosai road on March 30 in 2007 and I admitted the section and changed a name in the Shiga prefectural road 558 Otsu, Takashima line.
