The Radio Moscow symphony orchestra is the Russian orchestra which is active based in Moscow. An official name is called P I Tchaikovsky memory symphony orchestra (bare :БольшойсимфоническийоркестримениП.И.Чайковского) now.
I was established as the orchestra which played music for national radiobroadcast of the Soviet Union in 1930. The name at the time of the establishment was Moscow Radio Symphony Orchestra (British). It became the current name to name "Tchaikovsky" saying that I played a central role about a music performance of Tchaikovsky after Soviet Union collapse in 1993.
For Soviet Union Era, I was called USSR State Radio and Television Symphony Orchestra, USSR State Radio Symphony Orchestra, Symphony Orchestra of All-Union Radio and Television (British).
In addition, I am conventionally called "Radio Moscow symphony orchestra" after the changing of a name in Japan, but am called the Tchaikovsky symphony orchestra (Tchaikovsky Symphony Orchestra) based on an English name.
Vladimir Fedoseev acts as a musical director to date since 1974.
