Career

Father was born in Hongo, Tokyo ward Komagome Sendagi-cho (existing 1, Sendagi, Bunkyo-ku) as a son of new school actor, Jiro Tomei. I leave the elementary school because of a disease of mother in one year and it becomes the child's part with a stage name of Akihiro Azuma from 7 years old and stands on the stage. Mother dies at the age of 8 years old and went for a trip performance with father, but I learn the reading and writing by self-education during this period, and it is a reader as I aim at a novelist, the dramatist. I become an opera fan of the Asakusa gold dragon building since I heard "Carmen musical selection" and begin dramatic writing. It is said that after hanging it in the company of father, I won a favorable reception unexpectedly. In addition, it was the fan of the Shochiku Kamata movie as I went to the Asakusa Shochiku hall every week.

In 1922, it is entered the company as an actor by Nikkatsu Mukoujima studio. For 12 years, I achieve parent and child appearance in the silver screen in "night" of Manager Kenji Mizoguchi. I am to Toho

I play an active part mainly in Toho from 1950, and "Musashi Miyamoto" of Toshiro Mifune who produced it in 1954 wins Academy Award Foreign Language Film Award. Person, episode

The nickname "Kan Ina" (abbreviation of Manager Inagaki).
