Nico rasas メーアブルフ
Nico rasas メーアブルフ (Nicolaas Meerburgh, from 1734 to March 20, 1814) is a Netherlands plant breeder, botanist, a plant painter.

Life
I was born in Leiden. It is said that I learned a gardener under Adriaan Steckhoven. I have begun to work in Leiden physic garden from 1752. I worked under medicine director of three generations, ad re-Arne fan ローエン, ダヴィッド fan ローエン, セバールド Justinus ブルグマンス. Until 1814 to become the gardener head (hortulanus) in 1771, and to die; worked. I published four one's own plant picture albums including 50 points of plates, "Afbeeldingen van zeldzaame gewassen" from 1775 through 1780 and published "lantae rariores vivis coloribus depictae" for Latin in 1789. I published "Plantarum selectarum icones pictae" including the figure of 28 points of coloring.
