History

1922

It is French cake craftsman Jean guiro, and (M.Guironnet) founds "chocolate Tolly デュ ヴィヴァレ" (Chocolaterie du Vivarais) in the town called tongue レルミタージュ of the Valais デュ Rhone district of the south Buddha.
It produced a chocolate bar, straight chocolate, bonbon chocolate for the customer of the Rhone district in a small factory.

1950

While an owner changing, and protecting the traditional manufacturing method in a factory; クーベルチュール for professionals: I start production of (chocolate for the confectionery). The company greatly developed.

1960

ヴァローナ "VALRHONA" is established as the name of the official brand.

1979

The advance to the Japanese market.

1986

The production start of the product for general consumers.
It releases 70% of black chocolate "グアナラ" for the world first cacao.

1988

ヴァローナ confectionery school "L' Ecole du Grand Chocolat" is founded by tongue レルミタージュ.
I open the new school building with the latest facilities in 2002.

1989

The confectionery world meeting "coupe デュ Mond" foundation. (biennial holding)

1995

ヴァローナジャポン Co., Ltd. and the ヴァローナ United States establishment.

1996

The ヴァローナスペイン establishment.

1998

It releases vintage chocolate "Grand クヴァ" using the cocoa bean of the world's first farm designation.

2001

The ヴァローナイタリア establishment.

2004

A factory new establishment second in France.

2007

Confectionery school becoming the second school next to "L' Ecole du Grand Chocolat", "エコール ヴァローナ Tokyo" found it in Tokyo.
